"Tarsiers are small animals with enormous eyes and very long hind limbs. Their feet have extremely elongated tarsus bones, from which the animals get their name. The head and body range from 10 to 15 cm in length, but the hind limbs are about twice this long (including the feet), and they also have a slender tail from 20 to 25 cm long. Their fingers are also elongated, with the third finger being about the same length as the upper arm. Most of the digits have nails, but the second and third toes of the hind feet bear claws instead, which are used for grooming. Tarsiers have very soft, velvety fur, which is generally buff, beige, or ochre in color." - full article I really don't know what to make of them. They're tiny and maybe even the smallest monkeys in the world. But those huge eyes don't make them cute. These tarsiers were in a small zoo along Loboc river. The tarsiers can still be found in the wild. And I heard from our local guide that you can pay someone to capture one for you as a pet. However, he did say that these not-so-cute rat-looking monkeys with long tails commit suicide if they're caged. I don't even know why you'd want them as a pet. They look more like peSts than a cute adorable pet.
